Due to unemployment, and thus financial hardship, I have changed my policy of not adding labor cost to my rosaries. I hope that you can understand why this is necessary and will continue to support my apostolate. At this time I need to support my family with my skills and resources. I have not added much to the cost of each item -- not as much as most vendors would, doubling or tripling their cost -- but just enough to contribute a small amount to my family's income.

St. Michael Chaplet

.

I have recently made several rosaries that are used to pray the St. Michael chaplet prayers. These are really very beautiful meditations, using the Our Father and Hail Mary to pray. I have posted the meditations, which are offered to St. Michael and nine choirs of angels. Several of the chaplets I made I was in a big hurry to get in the mail and I failed to photograph them. I plan to make more, though, so I'll get pictures of future rosaries.

This chaplet is made with light sapphire, amethyst and peridot green faceted 6 mm fire-polished glass beads for the Hail Marys, linked to crystal clear 8 mm faceted fire-polished glass beads for the Our Fathers.

This chaplet I actually made for myself, one of the few rosaries I've made myself. I used garnet, topaz and dark amethyst faceted 6 mm fire-polished glass beads for the Hail Marys, strung with crystal clear 8 mm faceted fire-polished glass beads, capped with silver finish caps, for the Our Fathers. The prayer beads are strung on steel cable with crystal Japanese seed beads and Czech pearl beads between.

The Chaplet of St. Michael

O God, come to my assistance. O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father, etc.

[Say one Our Father and three Hail Marys after each of the following nine salutations in honor of the nine Choirs of Angels]

1. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Seraphim may the Lord make us worthy to burn with the fire of perfect charity. Amen.

2. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Cherubim may the Lord grant us the grace to leave the ways of sin and run in the paths of Christian perfection.
Amen.

3. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Thrones may the Lord infuse into our hearts a true and sincere spirit of humility. Amen.

4. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Dominations may the Lord give us grace to govern our senses and overcome any unruly passions.
Amen.

5. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Virtues may the Lord preserve us from evil and falling into temptation. Amen.

6. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Powers may the Lord protect our souls against the snares and temptations of the devil. Amen.

7. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Principalities may God fill our souls with a true spirit of obedience. Amen.

8. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Archangels may the Lord give us perseverance in faith and in all good works in order that we may attain the glory of Heaven.
Amen.

9. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Angels may the Lord grant us to be protected by them in this mortal life and conducted in the life to come to Heaven.
Amen.

Say one Our Father in honor of each of the following leading Angels: St. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael and our Guardian Angel.

Concluding prayers:
O glorious prince St. Michael, chief and commander of the heavenly hosts, guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, servant in the house of the Divine King and our admirable conductor, you who shine with excellence and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil, who turn to you with confidence and enable us by your gracious protection to serve God more and more faithfully every day.

Pray for us, O glorious St. Michael, Prince of the Church of Jesus Christ, that we may be made worthy of His promises.

Almighty and Everlasting God, Who, by a prodigy of goodness and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men, has appointed the most glorious Archangel St. Michael Prince of Your Church, make us worthy, we ask You, to be delivered from all our enemies, that none of them may harass us at the hour of death, but that we may be conducted by him into Your Presence. This we ask through the merits of
Jesus Christ Our Lord.
Amen.

Remember Mother Mary

.

The picture of this bracelet, I'm afraid, does not do it justice. I made this bracelet for Jill's
mother for Christmas. I've never made anything for her before. She's very young-looking (even though she has five years on me!), and dresses very hip. She has good taste. But, I wanted to make something special for her, something religious. I think she liked it and it looked really nice on her.

The pearl beads are Swarovski pearls, 6 mm in a beautiful light cocoa color, some of which are surrounded sterling silver caps. They are separated by tiny sterling silver balls, 8 mm Swarovski bicone crystal beads, and 4 mm Swarovski bicone amber-colored crystals. In the center is a beautiful, tiny, sterling silver Miraculous Medal -- a wonderful reminder to pray.

Pretties for Christmas

.

It seems like it's been a long time since I've posted here. We had a busy Christmas holiday, and I was busy making some gifts. I didn't get pictures of all of them, but I got a few to share with you.

This rosary bracelet was made for my mother, and I made a slightly different version for my husband's mother for her birthday on December 22.

The beads are 8 mm Swarovski pearls, and the Hail Mary beads and Our Father bead are separated by three biconal Swarovski crystals. The chains, links, and clasp, as well as the crucifix, are sterling silver.

I'm sorry that this is not the greatest picture of this pretty little bracelet. I made several of these for my nieces -- each with different colored crystals. One in pink, one in blue and one in pastel green. Strung on steel wire, the pearls are 8 mm Swarovski glass pearls and the crystals are biconal Swarovski crystals separated by sterling silver balls. The clasp is sterling.

This pretty little necklace was made for a tiny little lady. Strung on a steel wire, the Czech glass pink pearl beads are separated by white Japanese seed beads with four Swarovski biconal pink crystal beads. It has a nickel charm and clasp.

I made two of these sets for little girls down in Texas. The Czech pearl blue glass beads, separated by dark blue Japanese seed beads, are strung on steel wire with lapis lazuli colored glass beads. The bracelet and necklace have a matching nickel charm and nickel clasps.

The lighting wasn't very good for this picture, but they look pretty anyway. The earrings on the left were made for an 86-year-old lady. I think it's a beautiful thing that she still wears earrings and her daughter contacted me on Christmas Day to say, "Mom loved the earrings - she has them on today." The ones on the right were given to me by my six-year-old daughter, but don't tell her I made them!

The sterling silver Miraculous Medals are just a smidge over half an inch long (9/16") and dangle from a sterling silver spring back pierced earring. My pair have a biconal Swarovski crystal above the Miraculous Medal.
