This rosary was created with a young man in mind. Not any particular young man, maybe a First Communicant, or a young RCIA candidate, or maybe a young groom. I just thought it was very masculine, and because the beads are 6 mm, I thought it fit a young man, or an older man with small hands.

I love this crucifix and it was really the inspiration for the rest of the rosary.
The black onyx beads are dark and shiny, and I used antiqued silver chalices for the Pater beads, a reminder of Our Lord's teaching:
- "Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever."
On the center, a Holy Family image appears on one side and the image of the dove on the other. Both sides are beautiful.
